Packing has begun! 🥳

Hiya!

Long time no hear, but I'm back with a little update, which is that... I've begun packing the packages!! 🥳🥳🥳

Over the past few weeks, I've been waiting for certain items to come in while prepping a lot of products (adding packaging, making labels, fun stuff like that!), and I'm now at a stage where I feel like I can finally start packing boxes! I'm going to try to speed-pack as many boxes as I can over the upcoming week so that I can ship them before my summer vacation! 🥳

How many I'll be able to ship is still a question. Whilst I LOVE getting that shot with all the boxes together, I've run into a slight hiccup. I found out that some of the stickers I ordered have a misprint in them and have to get them reprinted, but I didn't notice until yesterday and now my sticker manufacturer is on vacation until the 17th, which is when I'm leaving for vacation. A handful of packages may have to wait until after I return to get shipped. Which means I don't expect any box to leave my house by mid-September (if I'm being extremely generous with the timeline).

Last chance to Check your Survey

TWO backers who did pay still haven't filled in their survey. I have sent messages through BackerKit, Kickstarter, and direct email, but I haven't been able to reach them all this time. So if you would be so kind as to double-check that you filled out your survey, that would be terrific. Thank you!

Update on the timeline & more product pics!

Hello hello!

It's been a while since I've given you all an update. I can imagine it's hard to be waiting so long, as I'd be super excited to receive my goodies too! 
Over the past few weeks, I've survived (in a sense) my summer events, a dry socket following a pulled molar and a record-breaking heatwave. Now that all of that is in the rearview mirror, I can focus all of my attention on packing the Kickstarter. There's only one tiny little problem... because I haven't received the extra pins yet! I've been hounding my manufacturer for updates on how the remake of the pins is going, and I'm happy to say that I finally got an update AND an expected delivery time for them! She's expecting them to be finished mid-July, which means I should have them by the end of the month and can start packing them then. 

Until then, I'll be preparing for the packing process in other ways so that when the pins finally do arrive, I can get to packing ASAP. Totebags need to be pressed, products need to be packaged, and I'll be designing the bits and bobs of the packaging that make it extra fun for you to receive and open them once they land on your doorstep. As well as preparing what things I can to speed up the packing process once it starts. 

Locking the orders

In one week, I'll be locking the orders & preorders.  This means that from that point on, you won't be able to add anything more to your order. This is fine if you're happy with your package, but if there's anything you'd like to add, this is the last opportunity to do so! 🙌
You should be getting a final notice about this on Monday.

Once the pins have arrived, I'll be locking the addresses so you have until then to double-check and update them. And then we'll be in the final stretch!

First look at the pins & Stickers!

Hello friends!

It's time for an update from my end! I've been working hard on getting all the products we've unlocked into production and products have started to arrive at the studio, so I thought now would be a great time to show you!

The pins!

Let's start with the most important one! The pins themselves!! Don't they look spectacular?? 🤩
It's wild how in love I can feel with a product that I myself designed and am now finally holding in my hands for the first time. Especially the Joy-Cons, DS and controller are just SO CUTE! 😍

Timeline - A hiccup

As you can see, the pins have arrived, and while some of them look terrific, some do not. I chose to switch manufacturers because I was very impressed with their detail work, and as you can see, the details of all the vines on the joycons and DS and such look so incredible! 🤩 However, they have had some problems during the oxidation phase that have caused a number of pins to be faulty. As you know, I would never send out anything to you that feels subpar to me. I've contacted my manufacturer already, and they will be remaking them, which will take them a few additional weeks. 

In the meantime, I'll be taking this little show on the road and taking these products with me to the conventions I attend until I wait for the new batch to arrive. We've agreed on some minor changes to assure better quality (and some additional costs on my end), and I'm confident these new pins will be even better than some of the ones I've held in my hands so far 💕

Despite this little hiccup, we're still on schedule to start packing orders over the summer! 🥳 I always calculate in extra time for hiccups such as these, so there is no reason to be concerned.

Surveys going out!! PLEASE Check your creditcard info!

Hi friends!
I crawled out of bed long enough to finally hit send on the first batch of surveys! I simply couldn't wait another day. The rest of the surveys will be close behind so you can expect to see those in your inboxes very shortly. These surveys will collect your preferences (which pins you want, which size shirt, etc.) and your addresses so I'll know where to ship to! You'll be receiving an email from BackerKit, so be on the lookout for that! :)

! Please check your Creditcard information !

I've noticed that a number of the backers still have errored creditcards. At this point, Kickstarter will have reached out to you a few times already, and I have also personally sent messages to the backers in question. So please, please, please. If you've received a message from me here on Kickstarter, double-check your credit card info. If you are unsure whether this might be the case, take a little peek to make sure.

If your pledge can not be collected through Kickstarter, I will not be able to send you your rewards. And that would be such a shame!

T-shirt examples!

As promised, I've taken a quick little photo of the sample t-shirts I've ordered. Tada!! Aren't they cute? :D

You'll be able to find these in the surveys as well, so you can choose which color you prefer.

WE DID IT!!! 🥳🥳🥳

The cozy gaming collection is funded!! 🤩
Together, we also unlocked the sticker set, so everyone who has a full package will also be receiving the stickers now! And don't worry, although the t-shirt was technically not yet unlocked, everyone who ordered it as an add-on will be receiving their t-shirts. I wouldn't dare to keep it from you! (or take your money and give nothing in return ;))

So what's next?

1. Kickstarter will be collecting your pledge. Please keep an eye out, if your credit card declines for whatever reason, you'll be receiving emails from Kickstarter about this.

2. Surveys. In the upcoming week, you'll be receiving an email from Backerkit with your survey. This is where you'll be able to let me know which pin(s) you'd like to receive (and which t-shirt) and where you send me your address. Please fill this in as soon as possible!

Last year a lot of backers asked to add things onto their pledge after the campaign ended. Unfortunately, this wasn't possible at the time. With BackerKit, however, it is! You can add whatever you want to your pledge after filling in your survey. This is totally optional, but if there's anything you want to add, now you can! If you don't choose any additional add-ons, you can just fill in the survey, then skip the add-ons and just fill in your address at the end. You won't get any additional charges. 

3. I start making and ordering your things! As soon as the surveys are done I can start ordering and making your products! The faster these first steps are done, the faster I can start this process and ofc the faster you will be receiving your goodies! 😁✨

Finally, I want to thank you all SO SO MUCH!! I'm so excited about this collection and I can't wait to share the physical products with you. And it's all THANKS TO YOU!! 🥳
